June 2020 – Plastic Picking Round Up
I am working on a more substantial blog on CME/MOCs which has been very helpful. It’s mostly helping me organize my thoughts of CME/MOCs and how much they cost. Like with most things, I now realize that we all have plenty of CME/MOC opportunities for free at our HMO and there is no reason to pay for outside ones. But that will be a more comprehensive blogpost as I need to look up some more information before I publish it.
I’ve been blogging almost daily, therefore I can make this blog post to the point. Here are my monthly plastic picking totals! I met my goal of exceeding 20 bags this month! The bags are definitely getting bigger and I’m transversing a bit further from home.
I’m at 929 instagram followers, which was never my intention. But we may reach a 1000 soon and I’m not sure whether to be terrified or really how to feel. But it is what it is, and it’s spreading drplasticpicker’s environmental message. The blog traffic fluctuates and reached it’s highest at 700 pageviews one day. Facebook is steady at 75 friends. But the most important thing is that I remain engaged with work and the earth, and life in general. That was the whole point of this blog at it’s conception.
June 2020 I picked up 21 bags of trash and salvaged 80 items. As of today, I am at 220 bags of trash and 743 items https://drplasticpicker.com/plastic-picking-round-up/. The salvaged items is really amazing and yesterday I picked up a perfectly good iPhone charger that retails for $19.99. Mr. Plastic Picker was threatening to by one, but the forgetful litterers of the world provided for our family. LOL.

And that is it. That is how much I cleaned the world this month, and how many items I picked up. I put this on Instagram yesterday and it made me laugh a lot!
