Donations: How many acres can I save? – Dr. Plastic Picker

Donations: How many acres can I save?

Everyone can do something. This is my daughter’s drawing years ago, and it moved me.

This page summarizes where drplasticpicker has donated to various environmental groups. Drplasticpicker has been a frugal person my whole life, and am by nature and nurture a hard-worker. The whole point of this blog is that I exercise and meditate for free on the beach, and I get to have fun blogging. I clean up the ocean at the same time. And the money that I would otherwise spend on “wellness” goes to the environment. I used to spend about $29 a month on weight watchers, and that is my starting point. No more weight watchers for me. Money goes to the earth!

This blog allows me to research the best impact per dollar our donations can go. There are some environmental scams out there! I usually use Charity Navigator to vette the organizations in my first step https://www.charitynavigator.org/. And I also discuss with my children monthly where we should donate.

Let’s see what one personal environmental action blogger can do!
